Our Journey

Having spent the 1st 20 years of my career in the Call Centre Industry, I've witnessed huge industry-wide change in the ways, we as consumers do business with our many service providers. Channels like: live chat, social media, chatbots, "my account", intelligent FAQs, customer review platforms and WhatsApp/SMS make our lives easier and are commonly our 'go to' when we need to interact with a provider. From my very 1st multi channel implementation into British Airways (2011) where live-chat was at that time innovative, we've moved from Muti-channel to omni-channel to personalisation, chatbots and augmented channel hierarchies.

In 2019, the shift to Healthcare (Clinical Home-care Provision) was a markedly different experience. Processes relied heavily on 'human glue and lists. Patient interactions conducted solely via a PBX phone system. The core system (Thick Client) struggled to manage patient records effectively.

Over the course of the next five years, I led two significant transformations, resulting in better connectivity between departments and externally with Clinicians, HCPs, Patients and Carers. Enabling, slicker operations (effort reduction via: better processes, automation, self serve and less reliance on human glue) ease of deployment (web based self enrolment) and patient inclusion through apps.

This journey across both industries has inspired me to form Jdi Digital Transform. My Healthcare industry experience and research, my extensive knowledge of Digital Customer / Patient Management places me in a unique position to bring the digital best practices from CX into Healthcare. Having delivered, significant transformational change in GxP environments, (where these digital platforms are now used for Community Nursing, RX and POM management, Order management, NHS referrals and patient management), I understand how good program management integrated with CSV stage gates is essential for successful, industry-wide digital transformation in Healthcare. Working alongside some of the best QA and Compliance Consultants in the UK, we have created a model for Compliant but Deliberate Program Management.

Chris Kenny - Founder and Principal Consultant

Proud father of 2 amazing girls 8 and 10. They are also my 2 favourite people to spend time with. Old enough to realise what's important in life (and by the way it's not expensive cars or handbags). Young enough to still think anything is possible. Including revolutionising Health Care.
